We are a Christian fellowship of Reformed/Evangelical nature in Delft, The Netherlands. Our teaching is Bible centered, our mission is to preach the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ. We want to bring together people from different cultures and nationalities who want to worship the Living God and/or want to know more about Him. We do this in song, prayer, Bible reading and explanation, and weekly Bible studies and prayer meetings.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and the only source of truth about Him to which we can turn. For 2,000 years Christians like us have believed God is a Trinity of three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, involved in an eternal, perfect loving relationship. Since man and woman are created in God’s image, we are called to reflect and embody that loving relationship here on earth, with Him and with each other.
Sadly, because of sin we are cut off from God, the source of our life and love. By God’s grace, however, we know through the gift of faith that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, came to this world as a real man, was crucified to death to die for our sin, was buried and rose again from the dead, so as to restore for mankind the possibility of having a new living relationship with God and each other. We are so glad that Christ came that we want to share with everyone the same Good News.
For all of us, however, our sinful inclination is to rebel against God and his kindness. Jesus Christ died, rose again and lives now so that rebels like us can be forgiven and become part of his wonderful family. The only way that we can be rescued from the consequences of our rebellion is through the mercy and power of the risen Jesus Christ, as we put our trust in Him.
We are part of the family of God often called the Church. We come together each week sharing God’s goodness in our lives. Whether you already know this goodness, or you want to know more about God, you will find friendship with us. If you would like to know more, please feel free to e-mail us from this link.
